This study aims to evaluate the effects of liposomal vitamin C on immune and skin health, compared to a conventional vitamin C, in a group of healthy participants.
Methods :
- Participants: 100 healthy adults, ages 25-55, randomly divided into two groups.
- Group A: Liposomal Vitamin C June® (1000 mg/day)
- Group B: Classic vitamin C in tablet form (1000 mg/day)
- Study duration: 12 weeks
- Measurements: Serum vitamin C levels, immune markers (white blood cells, cytokines), oxidative stress markers (ROS), skin hydration and elasticity will be measured at the start and end of the study .
Results :
Group A participants showed a significantly higher increase in serum vitamin C levels compared to group B (p < 0.05). In addition, group A showed a significant reduction in oxidative stress, with a notable decrease in ROS and an improvement in skin health in terms of hydration and elasticity (p < 0.01). Immune markers also showed significant improvements in group A, suggesting immune enhancement.
